“The Shape of Water”
Water shapes our lives - how we perceive or interpret this is the essence of this work.
In this series, I am rediscovering the construction of new shapes within the photographic image which is a continual exploration of moving beyond the boundaries of the photographic rectangle.Shot on b/w film in the darkness of the forest high up in the hills of Manganui o wae, where the water plays with your senses.
Printed on silver gelatin paper and selenium toned.
The Shape of Water is showing from the 18th August to the 30th September at the Marg Morrow Gallery.
